David H. Baxter

Obituary

David H. Baxter, 90, loving husband and father, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 surrounded by his family. He leaves his wife, Clayda, the love of his life; son Dave W. and spouse Cathy, daughter Carol Bristol and spouse Lee;  grandchildren Justin, Chad, Kate and Caitlin; great-grandchildren Violet and Ivy; brother Lance and spouse Rita; sister Sandra and spouse Myron; and numerous nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his sister Gail. 

David graduated from ATI, Canton, NY and received his Professional Engineering Degree at the University of the State of NY.  Upon graduation from Canton, he began his 38 year career at General Electric in Burlington, VT.

He was happiest spending time with family and friends, enjoying a game of cards or traveling.  He was an avid reader and spent many an hour on his computer. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 14, 2022 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 160 Hinesburg Road, South Burlington, VT with burial immediately following at Resurrection Park Catholic Cemetery.  The family requests that you wear a mask.
