Ettore J. Mancuso, Jr., 85, of Williston, VT passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 after a long illness.


Ettore was born in Schenectady, NY, December 16, 1932 to Ettore J. Mancuso, Sr. and Jane Mauro Mancuso.  He attended Schenectady, NY schools. After graduation he served in the Army Medical Core in Japan during the Korean War. On July 28, 1973 he married Rosemary Crowley Cooke and together they raised three children.


Ettore was employed by General Electric for 38 years and owned various rental properties.


Ettore is survived by his wife, Rosemary of Williston, VT, children Margaret (Pegg) Mancuso Rowe, of Holliston, MA, Ettore J. Mancuso, III of Essex Jct., VT, and Daniel and Kathie (Harton) Cooke of Williston, VT.  Also surviving are grandchildren O’Neal and Natalie Rowe of New York, NY, Christopher Cooke and partner Chelsea Hendrickson of Essex Jct., VT, Marc and Amber Cooke of Dublin, OH, Sierra Mancuso and fiance Keith Borak of Colchester, VT; great-grandchildren Laila Mancuso, Keturah Gordon Seepkur, Zoe and Amani Rowe of New York, NY, Makenzie Cooke of Dublin, OH; and several nieces and nephews.


He was predeceased by his sisters Julia Rosen and Frances Chlopecki, son-in-law Curtis O. Rowe, and daughter-in-law Kathy Wynans.


Visiting hours will be Wednesday, December 5 between 2 pm – 4 pm at Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant Street, Essex Jct., VT.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Church, Hinesburg Road, South Burlington, VT. Burial will immediately follow at Resurrection Park Catholic Cemetery, Hinesburg Road, South Burlington, VT.
