Elma R. Wildblood
Williston - Elma R. Wildblood, 91, died peacefully on August 24, 2018. Born on April 16, 1927 in Long Island, NY, Elma was the daughter of Elizabeth P. and John C. Bishop. She married Edward J. Wildblood Jr. in Trenton, NJ on October 29, 1949. They were married for 53 years.
Elma and Ed traveled all over the world during Ed's 40-year career with the Border Patrol and Immigration and Naturalization Service before settling in Williston. Elma was a passionate Vermonter who loved the Green Mountains and spent many hours cross-country skiing, canoeing and fishing. In later years she enjoyed walking her dogs, Abby Lee and Sue Lee, around Lamplite Acres.
Elma is survived by her daughter, Amy E. Tracy (George), Colorado Springs, CO; daughter-in-law Wendy Wildblood, Bremteron, WA; sister-in-law Betty Terryberry (Ken), Bradenton, FL; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and four nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and son Eric John Wildblood who passed away suddenly in February 2017.
The family would like to thank Elma's friends and neighbors for all their kindness and The Arbors in Shelburne for taking good care of Meme during her last months.
