Anne Esther (Flashner) Ozman, 94, died peacefully July 22, 2017 at the UVM Medical Center, Burlington, Vermont.

She was born in Boston, MA, December 4, 1922, the daughter of the late Mary Puleo and Jacob Flashner. She was married for 70 years to her beloved husband Robert E. Ozman.

Anne graduated from high school in Boston. Due to Robert's career with the Grand Trunk Railroad, they made homes over the years in Massachusetts, Vermont, New York, Connecticut, Wisconsin and Michigan. They enjoyed many retirement winters in FL. After she and Robert raised their family, she attended college at Syracuse University, Champlain College, and the University of Vermont.

Anne was a professional artist and an avid quilter, belonging to many art and quilting associations in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont and Florida. Anne also taught Art and established quilting groups in Florida. Anne was a loving mother, wife, and homemaker and especially enjoyed family gatherings. She had a soft spot for supporting animal care associations and enjoyed her animal children, especially Missy, Ginger and Muffy.

Anne was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Manuel Flashner.

She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Ozman. Children: Joanne Seguin (Maurice) South Burlington, Jeanne Raschke (Leonard) Lakeland, Florida and Robert E. Ozman,Jr. (Kamilla) East Moriches, NY. Grandchildren: Beth Wulfson, Meg Collins (Michael), Chip Heisler (Julianne), Lee Raschke (Mandy), Aaron Raschke, Christa Balchunas, Leanna, Jacob and Emma Ozman. 12 Great Grandchildren: Steven, Christy, Laura, (Bruno), Jenna, (Andrew), Joshua H, Nicole (Ryan), Alaina, Zachary, Joshua R, Nicolas, Ayla, and Easton. Two Great, Great Grandchildren: Grayson and Arielle. Anne was so happy to meet the 5th generation of her family.

The family would like to thank the staff at UVMMC, especially McClure 5, for the loving care they showed Anne during her final journey.

Services will be at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions in Anne's memory may be sent to the Community Lutheran Church, 1560 Williston Road, South Burlington, VT 05403 or the Chittenden County Humane Society, 142 Kindness Court, South Burlington, VT 05403.
